OUR MISSION

For nearly two thousand years the holy grave of the Tana Rebbi Matya Ben Charash has been a destination for prayer, especially those who are seeking refuah for eye ailments. Jews from all over the world visit this special place in Northern Israel to pour their hearts out to Hashem.

Over the years this site has become challenging to navigate upon visiting due to the wear and tear of the robust amount of visitors that come on a regular basis. As a result, some dedicated community men have taken it upon themselves to refurbish, expand and beautify this holy site to provide a safer and more inspiring experience to all visitors.
